Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    We generally discourage begging for sponsors (unless you already know them well, and then it's not begging so much as asking a friend).

    We do publish a regular list of contests that give SBI prizes, and there is always a selection in the @contestkings regular contest listing as well.
