This is a very very exciting update because a VERY important phase is COMPLETE!
Last weekend we shot Barbara-Anne and it was one of the best working experiences of my life. Every moment, even when things were stressful I felt empowered by the people around me and was SO PROUD of our incredible team.
When we wrapped the film (after a weekend of only sleeping about 8 hours total) my director Kat who is also one of my best friends and I went into the hair and make up room and BURST INTO TEARS. It was so difficult at times and SO INCREDIBLE and the growth we both felt was unbelievable. Even though we are best friends we also both impressed each other in remarkable ways- it's pretty cool to surprise and be surprised by the people you love the most.
Take a look at some of these behind the scenes moments! I'll do more detailed updates in the weeks to come but I want you to SEE the world we made. These are just iphone behind the scenes shots but we also found a wonderful stills photographer who captured the weekend.

For the film....we now move into post production, followed by festival submissions so fundraising will continue because costs will continue to arise. I want to hold in Steem as long as I can so all up votes are appreciated and welcomed and will still be going towards the film.
Congrats on getting the filming finished at least. I know there is still a long way to go but it must be a great feeling to get the shooting done. Anything that you put that much in to will take over your life to some extent so it can be weird to leave the bubble. Well done and hopefully we will see the finished result at some stage.

Thank you! Yes work to be done after but I am definitely enjoying this week of catching up on sleep and being done the actual shoot. But I also miss it already haha! Truly one of the best weekends of my life. And I will definitely be sharing here.
