Some were a great success, but a lot fizzled out without any notice at all. The biggest problem with some was it was obvious they didn't have the goal they were posting about. This is why I went with a wheeler to show you can get something nice without having to pretend it's a health issue or whatever else was used in the past. Some people actually feel better about giving to a cause that is for fun and recreation over people asking that really really need it. It's kind of sad really. I'd like to see a good mix of charity and recreation posts using the upfundme hashtag someday.
