Good day again #steemians. Here I am posting again my 2nd #upfundme to help buy my ticket to the USA. I am very grateful for all those generous people whohelped me renew my passport now my problem is my ticket.

I was planning to do it after the one for my Grandson’s baptism. All the plans are for Jan 219 but I decided to find ways and means early so I can adjust or budget. But there is a need to do it now which I will explain later.

Hopefully my daughter and her family will be arriving here in Jan 2019 to have the Baptism and first birthday of my grandson. She also has reason too.

Her reasons for coming home:

1. So that her grandmother, my mom can see her great-grandson. She will not be able to go to the US at her age. I am happy that she will be able to see at least 1 great-grandchild, as of now she only has 2. She is already 93 and seeing her great-grandchild will make her happy. We don't know if there will be another chance.
2. Also the mother and sister of her husband (maybe the father too because his parents are separated) can also see him. They also have less chance of going abroad.
3. Most important he will get baptized. So many requirements in the US and they are only married civilly. She also said that at least I won’t be going to the US alone. I can go back with them.

I am happy that they will come home so I could go back with them to the USA. The last time I was there was 1986. When I came home I told my brothers to bring my mom over because it had been over 22 years since she was there and she was in her 60’s already. She went there on and off for vacation, at least she was able to visit and travel while she could.

It has been 32 years for me. I would love to go back and visit again the places I have been. Just for vacation for maximum of 3 months. I need to come back and watch over my mom because she has Alzheimer. But I have no problems or worries if I leave her for a few months because the people I will leave her with has been with us for over 15 years and they know all the meds she takes and her needs. So I feel comfortable leaving her. Also I will be calling via messenger call almost daily haha.

I talked with my daughter and I know she has financial problems so I said I will try to earn here. She said even just half and she will try to cover half. She sent me the amount needed. We choose the cheapest we could using EVA airlines which seems to be good. A lot of people from my town use it and she did before.

This is my tentative schedule

$743.62 is a big amount especially for minimum wage earners. Since it was my idea to visit and she also wants it I need to help her. Even though she said half I hope to earn more so her share will only be small.

I will soon be 60 and I would love to visit before I get too old or too sickly. My classmates from high school and college said that if I arrive to contact them. Hmm…maybe they will send me air fare to visit them. I would also love to see Disneyland and be a child again. The first and last time I have been there was 1971 or 73, I was only 11 or 13yrs old. I have even been to Hong Kong Disneyland. Sometimes I envy friends who go there. The problems of low income but that is ok. Would love to experience it again and see California, my last time there was 1975, when I was there to work 1980-1986 I was in Chicago, Illinois, the Windy City. I miss it too worked as a nurse there.

I thought I would make this upfundme after the baptism but my daughter said that maybe I could send some amount by end of July so we could avail of the cheapest fare. So I am again knocking on the doors of generous #stemians who would help me. Your upvotes will be greatly appreciated. We are trying to avail of the cheapest and there is a deadline to buy.

I am also hoping to meet some US Steemians preferably in the California area. But there is one who promised to visit me when I get there. Hope he keeps his promise.

I can't wait to see this beautiful baby boy and be able to take care of him and have bonding moments so I can create memories.
