Now that I am aware of the new movement for a fairer and more improved steemit, in the future I will take your suggestion into consideration and not use promotions of this kind. I hope this has not negatively affected @Showtime's posts or potential ability to earn from upvote and build a good reputation? If so Is there a way to fix it?

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
