I've about to hit 13 million total net worth in Upland and while that's an awesome accomplishment the net worth doesn't actually represent my total value in terms of dollars.
To arrive at approximately value of money spent to obtain the properties I own you have to divide that number by 1,000, so in other words I've purchased nearly $13,000 worth of properties in this game.
However, and this is the big negative side of Upland, if I wanted to sell these back to USD and essentially back to real money I'd have to discount these heavily because the secondary market is so bad in this game.
So while my net worth looks really high, if I wanted to cash all of this back out to USD, I'd be lucky to walk away with $6,000 to $7,000 in total net of fees.
The idea is to keep growing this in total so that I can either sell new properties purchased with earnings or I can just grow this enough to eventually sell it all out at a higher total net.
