Heavy network congestion is a major problem in the world of cryptocurrency and website owners, it was the major reason for the sharp decline of bitcoin in 2017. It acts as a virus that contaminates and infects the success of block chains.

The Near Zero Congestion Model

In order to negate heavy network congestion and keep the fees low, a system known as the Near Zero congestion model was created with the inclusion several layers. The first factor is the IOT. The IOT devices is fast becoming a strong force in our world, creating waves and attracting the interest of people alike leading to its mass adoption. With IOT support, a larger number of network support will be acquired which will be used in powering Uplexa together with the NZCM API and it wouldn’t be necessary to use the block chain for most of the transactions.
The API allows app developers, webmasters and corporates to credit their users in Uplexa, with the users choosing to mine for the App, service or business. The transactions are all sent to the individual or business and the Uplexa is credited to the user on their platform via the API.

Therefore, when the mined uplexa is spent there would be no need for a transaction which could cause network congestion rather, it is processed via their platforms database.
Limits and barriers are placed on transactions as uplexa is not directly supporting micro-transactions and so the minimum limit of 1 uplexa can be sent. The amount however, may be changed at any given time. For micro-transactions under 5 uplexa a scaling fee is filed, therefore, sending less than 5 uplexa during a congestion of micro payments. The scale of payments goes up twice more than the normal payment. This helps to negate network attacks and lessens the use of micro payments with uplexa.
