Eventually when I have a larger following I'll start writing more meaningful pieces again but for now I'm just trying to build my follower base to try help get more eyes on my work. I'm taking the quantity over quality approach at the moment but I'll shift away from that soon hopefully.

I think one great tip is connecting with other people in this community to biuld up your base and relationship then your blog is very much seen by most of the people you connected with . Follow other people some will follow back . Little by little we will get there

good!! here's an upvote from me - I'm finding it not so easy for my blogs to be seen and read on steemit - with posts only visible for brief seconds - trying to figure out how this works I decided to just upvote everybody who does a good post - and just keep doing it - and to follow people too

It is extremely hard, the only people really making any money seem to be the people that are staples of this community, not the little people. Even when I get upvotes by the time the 7 day waiting period is over the Earnings I had usually fade away down to zero and then I don't get paid out at all. The only reason My votes even carry a little weight now is because I invested a $1,000 into my steem power and all it did was get me a 3-4 cent vote which again fades away over time. Not only that but the value of the $1,000 I invested says it has gone down to $900 so honestly it has not been worth it at all so far.
