Ancient Man and Ancient Ape As big as Owa

During this time, it has become common belief that the ancestors of humans (ancient humans) and the last apes are primates the size of a chimpanzee.

However, recent discoveries discouraged previous research. Reported by Tech Times, researchers who studied the human family tree found that the last ancestors of early humans and primordial apes were probably small primates of size as Owa.

A new study published in the journal Nature Communications contains a study of two researchers from the University of Tübingen and the University of Stony Brook in New York.

By studying primate fossil samples from Africa, Europe and Asia, the researchers found that the body mass of the last ancestors lived in an environment corresponding to a creature the size of Owa. Means weighs about 11 pounds (5 kg) and may be 17 to 25 inches in size, similar to modern gibbons.

Homino is the name for primate groups that include humans, their fossil ancestors, and anthropoid apes. Hominoid has resulted in the separation of major and human primate lineages since the emergence of primates of the New World some 25 million years ago.

"The line that leads to the gibbons is the earliest hominoid that deviates from the group that gave birth to large primates and humans, some 17 million years ago," wrote a statement from the University of Tübingen.

Researchers have cast doubt on the general view of ancient human evolution which involves only the same size or increasing in size. Because of the same research, found evidence of decreased size in the evolutionary process of human lineage.

Such changes are believed to be caused by many factors such as environmental factors, and others such as the use of tools and the availability of food.

Basically, the researchers found that the process of evolution of early humans did not come in a straight line and did not get bigger as time went on

Nice post @riorinaldy. The evolution process was really scientific. It was really nice to learn more deeply about the evolution of human. But I think as Darwin said that the human being came from the mongkey, it cannot be proof until now day. Thabjs for sharing buddy.
