This is awesome brother, you got it started. I think this is great! I just saw your comment from your post yesterday about this and replied. This is why I think this could be a huge win/win:

To the right parties, depending on their investing goals, this type of arrangement could be quite beneficial for both.

I see SBDs as a liquid version of Steem. It's supposed to be pegged to $1 US dollar, but in actuality, has been trading like it's own crypto currency. They've been extremely profitable so far with their trading price being as high as double their implied value. Now that the SBD price has fallen more in line with it's implied value of $1 US(it's trading right around $1.07 right now) some could see more value in holding SBDs over Steem or Steem Power as a short term hedge against a downturn in the price of Steem.

If your goal is simply to acquire more Steem or Steem Power in the short or long term, selling SBDs for $$ to increase those assets would be beneficial to you. We all have different investing goals, and this I think is a home run of how we can accomplish those goals WITH 0 FEES and done in house on Steemit. In my opinion, this increases the value of the Steemit platform just that much more. It's literally like having access to a trading platform but all transactions are peer to peer and at no cost. Kinda brilliant! Resteemed!!

Interesting. It is a business service just like randowhale. Here are my concerns though. SBD value will probably go up and stay around $1.5-$2. and $3 upvote you give will decay over time of the post, will probably end up at $1.50-$1.75. Not sure if it would be win/win. I will think about it though. Good luck.

If SBD is at 2.00 the price of steem will also be higher and the voting power will be greater. Earlier today SBD was at 1.07

I just looked now and it is at 1.22 on coin marketcap.

Will definitely be on the lookout for factors you bring up...and will definitely be listening to comments such as this. As we move forward we will have more data to work with, and perhaps some adjustments will be required in the future. Time will tell.

thank you. I was reading your other posts, you bring up really cool topics, especially win/win one. I will be following you and the development on this service. Prices aside, my main problem when using randowhale was how post rewards decay over time, and rewards drops by 40-50% by the time it is payday, because of the redistribution mechanism.
I guess solution could be getting an upvote on 6th day so decay is the least amount. Not sure how it would work out with your 48 hour window.
I really appreciate what you are doing though. I think its great people like you coming up with true win/win possibilities.

Here's a play that could possibly prevent on vote decline somewhat- send a post that is 3 or 4 days old...and see what kind of data that results.

So far i've been able to accommodate all upvotes within a 24 hour window. I will be doing upvoting in the evening hours of EASTERN STANDARD TIME starting round 10 or 11pm usually
