The First KRW Market Listing of the DAI on upXide, January 10

• January 10, it is confirmed to list the DAI on upXide

Upside, the blockchain company, and subsidiary to Metaps Plus, announced MakerDAO’s stablecoin, DAI was listed on its cryptocurrency exchange, upXide.

Stablecoin is a non-volatility cryptocurrency which has stable value, and it differentiates from other cryptocurrencies, it guarantees stable price with pegging to currencies and commodities.

DAI is collateralized Etherium(ETH), and 1DAI is worth equally 1 dollar. Users should provide Etherium as collateral to make DAI, and users also can give DAI to get back Etherium. With this stable pricing system, DAI is evaluated as the most developed stablecoin in terms of decentralization that all cryptocurrencies pursue. DAI users can participate in making various decisions for DAI environment with possessing and paying the Maker(MKR), the governance token published by MakerDAO.

The DAI listing on the upXide is the first listing on KRW market in Korea. Through the listing, DAI can be traded in KRW and NPLC market in upXide, and it was mentioned at Metaps Crypto Conference Korea held by Metaps Group on December 2018.

In order to celebrate the DAI listing, upXide is holding a Facebook event from January 4 to 9, and a Hot Deal event that customers could by vouchers for the department store with discounts will be held in the middle of January. The event can attend with only DAI and NPLC. Meanwhile, ‘Christmas Hot Deal Event’, which could buy mobile chicken coupons with maximum 70% discounts, was conducted by upXide, and it was sold out within 20 seconds with huge interests from the customers.
