This is a photo of a indian hindu spiritual festival called CHARAK PUJA .
The festival is organized every year the month of April
this festival is organized in honour of lord Shiva or Mahadev. IT is also called neel puja .
In genaral this festival is very horible. People inject iron hooks , nails into their body and dance like crazy. male devotees swing from the pole by hooks thrust through their backs, the hooks being attached to the pole by ropes.here is a photo of a devotees who nail boiling all over his face
