Senate Leaders, along with White House, decided to introduce a 2 Trillion dollars deal as coronavirus relief package, which mostly includes different businesses and workers all across the country. The plan was announced by the White House’s legislative affairs director, Eric Ueland. The minority Senator leader, Chuck Schummer, stated that the purpose of this bill is to give compensation to those US unemployed workers who are sitting in their houses due to lockdown and cannot pursue their jobs; the citizens will get it as their missed salary.
He further added that the bombshell facility advises the companies to stay active about the situation and recall their employees immediately as soon as the crisis settles down.
McConnel says that the conference between White House and Senate would be happening at 00:00 this night; however, they didn’t decide a time for a vote yet. According to the rule, the voting to start the meeting about the coronavirus relief package would be held at 1 pm ET.
Moreover, while talking to media, Eric Ueland said most of the work related to the bill has been done, and they hope the remaining work would complete in the next few hours. While discussing about unresolved issues, the Senate’s legislative leader stated that they might act on the clear legislative text.
The remarkable plan for rescuing the economic situation of the country amid COVID-19 crisis would offer a direct stipend to maximum US nationals and give 367 billion dollars to small businesses so that they could keep rolling their business; whereas, the workers are advised to stay at their houses during this epidemic condition.
Meanwhile, the bigger industries would be getting loans from a separate relief package, including a billion dollars program. Plus, the hospitals would also be awarded with considerable support from the same economic package. Hence, you can say that the White House and Senate Leaders'splanning about giving $1T relief under these circumstances would be a much success.
All these steps were mandatory to take under these conditions, and the US did an excellent job in constructing this relief plan.
