Venting a bit and random ramblings

Wow, what happened to the independent outlets, the free press platforms, the short lived truth channels. You know, the ones that were supposed to question everything..and strive hard to find the truth. The Incredible diversion from real facts within the u.s. is crazy.. what happened to the now sold out bastions of clarity? I'm looking for more real investigative journalism without that sad dying patriotic attachment. That attachment which blinds, hoodwinks and bamboozles. You might not like what you find but the truth isn't always pretty. America is quite a remarkable, amazingly progressive place, and it's always a trip and a bit down right scary flying back into the american bubble, now this time around after backpacking south east asia for 3 1/2 years. It seems like my metaphysical progression and even physical growth is stunted whenever I am here. I used to love it here when I was younger..me the 80s baby former hardcore skateboarder from socal. Now saturated trendiness, pastel colors, and long beards with sharp haircuts have replaced the black flag, and blood stained nofx t-shirts, in southern california anyway. I plan on working until the beginning of nxt summer then heading to france with my mountain bike and riding the west coast first near bordeaux. Monalivet is a cool stop for the entirety of june, live free concerts on the beach, amazing wine, outdoor market, nude beaches, and incredible coastal scenery.. but don't ask me about the locals. Then I'll head to the south coast and ride from perpignan to st tropez for the rest of the summer, stopping at random beaches camping. I'll keep my suv and things in a las vegas storage until I return, no sense paying rent for 3 months if I'm not there. Upon my return I'm going to work a bit more to recover from my summer trip spending, it's rather easy for me to get a sales job here in vegas and bang in a few grand in a couple weeks or so. I used to work in a couple of boiler rooms in spain some years back, not proud of it but had no choice at the time..was flat broke with a backpack and a guitar in barcelona. Plus they give you an apartment for 3 months and a draw usually consisting of 200 euros a week..Ill divulge more on another post. Then I'll head to nicaragua and costa rica, never been there.. heard good things though..there's this eco, off-grid community in the south of nicaragua I want to check out near san juan del sur. I'll be surfing as well, good surf spots are in the area. Hopefully I meet some more hippie chicks to make love to in my travels.
