It would be really nice if USA could avoid going to war

I was never in the military although I hang out with a bunch of people that did. Some of the people I see are still in the military in a reserve capacity and while there is a level of patriotism in these people, none of them talk about how awesome war is. One of my best pals did 2 tours in Afghanistan and man oh man does he have some harrowing tales to tell and very few of them are good.

When I hear stories about the USA getting involved in Ukraine and the other day hints about how the United States would militarily intervene if China were to attack Taiwan, it really makes me worry. I think we've reached the point with advancements in military equipment that if a large scale war were to happen, that we could be looking at an end-game scenario.

There is no denying the military might of the United States. I don't know the specifics but we spend more on our military budget than something like the next 12 nations combined and 11 of them are allies. The United States certainly has the most advanced military in the world but I think it would be really bad if we were to use it to its full potential.

I don't even like to see the USA intervening in Ukraine to the level that they have even though it has mostly just been words and something about loans for weapons or something. I believe that the United States needs to kind of mind its business and stay out of the affairs of other countries. It is not any other nation's job to police the world and I think USA has tried, mostly in vain, to do this job for entirely too long.

A lot of the world resents us for this and there are many theories out there that talk about the reason that many terrorist organization exist at all are directly because of USA intervention in areas that are not their own.

When Biden made a comment the other day in Japan indicating that the United States would respond militarily to any Chinese military action taken against Taiwan, that kind of scared me a little bit. I don't believe that Joe is actually using his own thoughts when he talks mostly, but it is still a scary prospect. The world's richest military squaring off against the world's largest standing army is not going to end well no matter how you look at it.

Even though I hang out with quite a few military veterans, I don't know any that are excited about the prospect of the States getting involved in a war with China or Russia let alone both. In fact, most of these guys, after their service, feel as though the efforts that they participated in were rather futile and that morale was very low when they were in overseas bases because nobody really seemed to understand what their objectives were. They were just there to occupy and provide security - yet they really never knew whose security they were providing. They did know that a bunch of their friends died in the process though.

I would love to see the USA return to their pre World War 2 stance of non-intervention, even if that means that maps get re-drawn around the world. If China went through with attempting a military strike on Taiwan the USA and the west could punish them by no longer doing trade with them. That would hit them in the pocket and that's where it really hurts.

I abhor violence even though I am quite good at it and I think that most people would prefer to see USA stop spending money that it doesn't have in order to fight wars that don't really have anything to do with our nation.

I am making $92 an hour working from home. i was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbour advised me she changed into averaging $ninety five however I see the way it works now. I experience mass freedom now that I'm my non-public boss.
