In the USA, Joe Biden, who was elected president, was shot down by BioNTech and Pfizer against the coronavirus. "I don't want to get ahead of the line, but I want to make sure we show the American people that getting this vaccine is safe," Biden said in a post-vaccination statement. Biden and his wife Jill Biden thanked the healthcare professionals.
