A city of US state of New York has imposed an 1 Year and 8 Month ban on bitcoin mining in an attempt to stop miners from city low cost electricity. The Plattsburgh City Council said that the ban was imposed to preserve the - "character and direction" of the city. Who will try to break the rules then ready for up to $1000 penalty per day.
