Today I got inspiration from a fellow Steemian to write a #useeisee post. Thank you @marillaanne for the great idea, I will try to do my best...
The idea goes pretty much like this:
I post a photo and I guess what you see when you look at that photo. Then I try to write down what I see.
I picked a rather simple photo by purpose. I think there is much to see in a photo, like it is in all artwork. Especially when you have memories connected to the time that photo was taken. Even the most simple things in life can be rather awesome, and never judge the simple look at the surface! You need to look beyond what you see and you might be surprised <3
I hope you enjoy!

You see:
- Some broken ice
- Water
- Grass
I see:
- Springtime by the lake.
- I was hiking with both my kids. We had a really happy day together!
- The ice is beginning to melt.
- The sun is warm and melts the ice, it just broke when we tossed a stone at it.
- I see my kids picking up ice cold pieces on by one, holding them for a second. Then tossing them back into the water, fast, the ice was really too cold to hold in the hand.
- The sun is reflecting in the ice. I see glitter and small natural shaped patterns in each of the pieces.
- The grass beside the water is old and dry. Nature is waiting for a new beginning.
- The sun is warming my face, the birds are singing there is a soft breeze, helping the sun to melt the ice.
- Sticks are picking the ice, trying to break it even more. My kids love the help springtime to arrive.
- I see how we lit a fire and how we grilled our sausages. The kids helped me out when we did not manage to lit the wet firewood, they picked the old, dry grass beside the water.
- Natures art, I love it; the irregular pieces of ice mixed with water and sun.
Feel free to tell me if you see more things than the three I mentioned above as "you see:".
The photo in this post are available for #Art-Services which means you can use it in your posts on Steemit if you make a reference to this post and to @kerlund74. All photos are mine and edited by me. I can also help you and edit photos for you.

Isn't it wonderful what some shards of ice can do to your mind? Capturing a small detail in a frame helps you unfold a ton of pieces of a bigger puzzle later...
