These days, it seems that just any old story constitutes as being newsworthy, but some of those very trivial stories are not worth reporting on or even giving any attention to at all. Also, so many people who have fake celebrity status are not even that interesting. But everyday we hear about the same old people doing the same old boring things.
It's quite unfortunate that news stations and magazines and other media outlets have so little to report on these days that they have to over-sensationalize all of those stories about people and things that are just mediocre at best. I remember when the standards for a story being newsworthy were a little higher than they are now.
