The position serves as an American Citizen Services (ACS) Assistant in the specialized areas of Passport and Citizenship and performs a variety of tasks in support of ACS at the US Embassy in Dhaka. The incumbent serves as a passport caseworker and provides services and communications for US federal agencies regarding various ACS issues.
The US Embassy in Dhaka is primarily responsible for processing all US passport books and cards applied for. Accepts passport applications by mail through post authorized vendors and also by personal interview through online appointment scheduler. The job holder processes both types of passport applications.
Qualifications are required
Bachelor's degree in Science, Arts or Commerce is required. (You must attach a copy of your certificate with your application.)
Three years of customer service experience required.
Fluency (speaking/reading/writing) in English and Bengali is required. This can be tested.
