heres a conspiracy theory..

I am deliberating whether to opine about the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto.

I think we can easily eliminate Steve Jobs being Bitcoin's 'creator'. We can pretty much eliminate Elon Musk too as ridiculous. Putting aside famous CEOs, let's look at a less famous one and the rest of the cast of characters.

Let's start with John McAfee and work our way backwards. Ugh, where to start with McAfee (inventor of anti-virus software that was ironically almost impossible to delete)? EveryKey, PrivacyPhone, then later (after being forced out of MGTI) his "Coin of the Week" recommendations, and of course his recent claims knowing Satoshi's identity.

Dude, just keep your mouth shut. Sigh. Ok, let's parse through this tweet. I actually believe McAfee knows who Satoshi is. I also believe McAfee has had a conversation with him. I believe McAfee when he asserts that at least a dozen "crypto adherents" know Satoshi's identity (this is an important piece of information if true). I also believe McAfee has difficulty controlling his impulses at times. But that wouldn't mean that McAfee doesn't know who Satoshi is.

Of course, McAfee is correct when he says that Craig Wright isn't Satoshi Nakamoto. Everyone knows that -- including whiz kid Vitalik Buterin. And Gavin Andresen. Gavin doesn't even seem convinced by his own arguments. Hmmmnn, I wonder why.

And of course, there is Hal Finney, cypherpunk and major contributor. Interestingly, Hal Finney's body was cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation following his death in 2014.

Let's sprinkle in a few other clues like how Hal Finney lived close to Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto (reclusive bad dresser with disheveled hair from Japanese background, outed by Newsweek, etc. etc.). Wait what? Yes, these two men -- Hal Finney and Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto -- lived near each other. Liberty-minded folk tend to prefer the company of liberty-minded folk. Don't believe in coincidences.

Now let's presume McAfee actually knows for a fact that a dozen crypto advocates know who Satoshi is (as he does). Let's also assume that Trump knows, Putin knows, and the blacktie puppeteers also know. Let's assume everyone knows! Roger Ver, Erik Voorhees, Andreas Antonopoulos too. They all can't not know. Everyone probably knows, but have been on the same page in regards to keeping the identity a secret. Except McAfee until recently. But he is back on the same page (for now). Doesn't matter. Maybe Satoshi's identity is just a not-so closely-guarded secret anymore. Maybe Craig Wright acted on the community's behalf to intentionally misdirect people's attention. Gavin's "confirmation" too. Maybe there has been a coordinated effort to conceal satoshi's identity. Maybe Newsweek was right all along.
