I was gone this weekend in Zion National Park. Kind of a last minute decision... got to see a lot of friends and it was partially motivated because i heard the fall colors were starting there.
I photographed all day in the Narrows the first day.
Then the second day I did this trip where we got to see this nice fall view at the end.
THE VIEW
HOW WE GOT THERE
we came down this ... rappelling.
The route is called "pine creek" and it starts at the bridge by the zion tunnel and you go through a series of amazing slot canyons.
I haven't had time to go through many pictures and I got to work on some Steem stuff today but i'll do a post showing off the full trip soon.
Because I loved this view here's another shot.
The autumn colors are beautiful, but the shot
before the last, where the red stones turn black,
climbing into darkness ;) or back to the light....is super nice!
