I studied mathematics in college and wrote programs to analyze insurance claims. I became disillusioned with the insurance industry and created a free market alternative to big insurance companies.
This happened thirty years ago. In thirty years I've been unable to find anyone interested in discussing free market health care reform.
The about me page talks about the frustrations I've had with the partisan system.
I live in Utah which is the most conservative state West of Saudi Arabia. What happens in Utah is the second I question big insurance, conservatives begin jumping on my throat and spitting in my face and kicking me for criticizing the health care establishment.
Progressives are equally upset for my daring to question big government.
So, I spent thirty years trying to find people interested in free market health care reform. I have yet to find anyone brave enough to spend an afternoon discussing the mathematics of health care.
People in America have developed partisan filters that make it impossible for people to discuss important political issues.
I bought a podhosting account simply because, for thirty years, I've been wanting to say "Insurance is the problem. It is not the solution."
Unfortunately, I've discovered that living in this excessively oppressive state, my public speaking abilities have faded.
So, my first podcasts are dedicated to regaining my voice.
The podcast will address the frustration that I have had with the partisan system. I will follow this with a presentation about the history of our two party system.
