Each time I look back at my youthful age, I have every reason to be grateful. I remember when documents were only formatted using a computer system. At that time, there were no mobile phones which had the ability to format files. We are lucky to be born in this era when technology is at its peak.

A few days ago, an updated version of PDF converter surfaced on the google play store, I was glad when I saw it because it took so long for an update to be released. If not that I have been paying close attention to its GitHub account, I would have concluded that the project is abandoned. The update didn't have many features as I expected, but it is enough to work with. Before the update, there was no feature to convert an excel file document to PDF or an image zip files to PDF. But now, it is possible.

For the benefit of those who didn't read my previous article on the PDF converter, I'll define what the PDF converter is.

The PDF converter is an open source application used in converting different file formats to PDF formats. The PDF converter works more like a computer-based software. It supports texts, QR codes, and images. Users can easily convert these file formats to PDF formats. There are a lot of things I like about the PDF converter. I have used it to merge two documents together, I have used it to split a single document into multiple documents of single pages, I have used it to compress a file, and I have used its password feature to protect my files.

Within my few months of using the PDF converter, I have learned a lot about file formatting. I have learned how to scan and convert QR codes to PDF formats, I have learned how to attach a watermark to my files, and I have learned how to enhance the font size of my text. It goes without saying that the PDF converted is developed by professionals.

It is good to have a brilliant developer who has the best interest of his customers at heart. I was glad when I first saw the favorite feature because I know how stressful it is to scroll up and down searching for a particular tool. If you've used the PDF converter application, you'll agree with me that it is true. The developers thought of this, and they implemented a favorite feature which enables users to group their favorite tools in one place. Like me, I use the PDF converter frequently, so far I have grouped all my favorite features in one place for quick access.

Excel files to PDF

I have worked with the excel file formats for over five years. When I learned of the PDF converter application, and I found out that it didn't support excel file format, I was disappointed. A project created for converting files should probably support all the file formats available. I'm glad to see that my wish has been granted, and I commend the developers for the great features implemented within the version 8.6.4 of the PDF converter. For me, being able to work with an excel file format is a huge accomplishment for the developers of the PDF converter application. I had difficulties with the previous version because it did not support the excel file format. But with the latest version released, I’ll be able to work with the excel file formats within the PDF converter application. Already, I have converted a few excel file formats to PDF, and it was successful.

Converting an Excel file format to PDF is easy, and It works more like other converting tools within the PDF converter application. When you select an excel document, you'll be requested to assign a name to it. When you're done, click on ok, and your excel file will be converted to PDF in seconds.

Image zip file to PDF:

Image zip file to PDF is another wonderful feature implemented within the PDF converter application. Most times I had difficulties working with image files that are zipped especially icon packs. What I normally did when I'm faced with this challenge was to use another mobile application to unzip the files before converting them. Since the release of the PDF converter version 8.6.4, a lot has changed. I'm now able to format images that are zipped at ease. So no more externally application.

Conclusion:

I believe for a project to excel, it most has all the necessary features needed to accomplish it's designed task. The PDF converter is an application that has a lot to offer. It provides a means to convert different file formats to PDF. The latest version launched proves that its team of developers are ready to take the PDF convert to the next level.
