The "Torch Light" feature has errors

Expected behavior

Supposedly, when I click on the "Torch" feature then the flashlight on my smartphone will be on.

Actual behavior

When I click on the "torch" feature to turn on the flashlight, the feature does not work and displays a blank page.

How to reproduce

  1. Install and open the app
  2. Next click the "Torch Light" feature, then you will find the error as I experienced.
  • Device: Xiaomi Redmi 4X
  • Operating system: Marshmallow, 6.0.1 mmb29m (CPU: Octa-core Max 1.9 GHz, RAM: 2 GB)
  • Application Version: 2.6

      bang @ahyar92, untuk Torch ini saya sudah pernah mencoba, tapi errornya gak muncul. Eh apa beda ya aplikasi yang saya gunakan.

        Mungkin anda salah menginstalnya, itu bukan "Torchlight" di playstore, namun di Fdroid. donwload disini.

        untuk versi android 6.0 saja,

          Hello @ahyar92, thank you for the contribution.

          This is not a Bug, instead it is a permission problem. You can view this by clicking the the 3 vertical line at the top left then settings then information

          You need to grant the Camera permission for the application

          How to make the application function properly

          • Open the phone settings
          • Navigate to Apps under the Device sub heading
          • It will display the list of applications present on your phone, now locate the torchlight application and open
          • Click on the permission and put on the Camera permission.

          Try using the application now as it works perfectly.

          The PO already replied to your issue on Github and stated the same thing. You are advised to always follow up issues you create on github as it is a way to foster relationship between you and the PO.
