Just a quick overview, Django Girls aims to inspire women to be inclined to programming. In fact, their website say

Django Girls is a non-profit organization and a community that empowers and helps women to organize free, one-day programming workshops by providing tools, resources and support. We are a volunteer run organization with hundreds of people contributing to bring more amazing women into the world of technology. We are making technology more approachable by creating resources designed with empathy.

Being an area ruled by men, programming has never been a forte of women. But thanks to the breakthroughs of the call for gender equality especially in workplaces, women are slowly making its way toward technology developments. Django Girls Tutorial is just one of the many communities who are actively promoting programming for women.

As a woman, it somehow inspired me to make a contribution to this promising change. I make contributions through translating this project. For this contribution, I have suggested 36 translations in Tagalog, amounting to 559 words.
