Bug in OpenFoodFacts : Scan Barcode feature does not work

in utopian-io •  7 years ago  (edited)

Expected behavior

when I want to scan code using an Open Food Facts app on a product, a barcode scan should be readable and detect the result of a product I want to search.

Actual behavior

when I scan the code of a food product with the 'barcode scan' feature not working, and can not detect the product I scan, while with the Product Type Barcode feature readable, I have repeated several times the Barcode Scan feature but it does not work as well.

How to reproduce

  • Browser: OpenFoodFacts app Version (0.8.10)
  • Operating system: Android 5.0
  • Smartphone: Asus Zenfone 5

Hello! @ayuverayunita,The provided step to reproduce is awkward, in fact you did not provide any, i tried to follow your video to replicate but the app seems to work as expected, also the interface of the app you said it is 0.8.10 is different from the 0.8.10 latest version installed on my device....Your contribution has been declined because of the above stated reason.
