I recently got talking with an urban designer from the US that shared an uplifting experience with me.
He had finished a big real estate, urban design gig and was so much optimistic about how the intended community would love his beautiful architectural design that features a lot of classic drawing and impressive housing design model, so he thought everything he did was pretty much perfect.
But to his surprise, at the public community meeting where he shared his well designed plan, very few were impressed and many wanted to make their observations known and some even felt like they should be contributing and participating in the design process if it was actually meant for them.
From there he understands the value of public active participation in projects and not just software. So he said to me:
You can start with a single urban designer to get the design source code which in this case will be the basic design layout and then invite many other designers worldwide to collaborate, contribute and tweak the initial design idea that was just a basic thing into something built by all and for all.
This way everyone that intend to live in your city will not only be able to speak at inception, but will get heard loudly for life.
With this business revelation, I came to the to the conclusion that:
The Future of Business is Open Source and Decentralization Makes that Future Arrive Earlier than we Expect.
Why I Think Open Source Should Be Redefine by Utopian and Steem
Because that’s Where the World is Heading Towards
We can’t afford to fight against the movement that already moved long before we thought it was moveable. Every industry and business should be able to speak fluently the language of their business code in a public, welcoming environment and this is only applicable to the software and programming industry currently through platform like Github.
Now there’s a revolution brought by blockchain and it’s making everything head towards this old (that looks like a new) but effective way to get things done collaboratively.
Steem blockchain is one of the best things that has happened to the blockchain industry since decentralization became more attractive and now utopian is becoming the best thing that is happening since the steem blockchain became attractive and this is why I want these two projects to lead in this regard.
Because it’s a Strong Vision and a Worthy Mission
It’s a good thing as many people all over the places are earning directly for the first time by contributing to open source projects. But I personally think it will be more interesting if the whole world is open source and that the definition of that doesn’t just relate to code, smart contracts and all the technical jargons uploaded to Github.
The average entrepreneur don’t even care about that if they are not in the industry. There’s a strong vision of a open source world brought by a worthy mission of a decentralized internet and I don’t think there’s any vision and mission that can be greater than this in this century.
Imagine if the creation of earth planet is open source, and the source code was released to mankind by God? We might have tweaked this world quickly into something unbelievable and unimaginable. And as Jack Ma put it:
Technology alone can’t not change the world, but the dreams behind technology is what changes the world.
Jack Ma
The SUM is a Correct Equation
This is one of the best idea sex that can birth one of the transforming platforms in the decentralization industry. Because I think the Steem Blockchain is not only an attractive woman, but also a rewarding one.
And utopian should be the womanizer that sleeps with both the sexy steem and the beautiful github to produce the amazing world of open source. Not even the internet of open source, but the world of it.
Conclusion
I don’t know if there’s already an open source platform on the blockchain catering for all industry, because I didn’t research this before writing and most importantly I don’t see this as a great idea.
This is what I think would make our world a better place and this is where I think our world might be heading to.
This is also just a basic thought of mine for everyone invested in Utopian by any means. If utopian adopt this and become successful, then you all profit either directly or indirectly.
There's more that blockchain technology will contribute to the transforming of our world, if not so, I wouldn't be investing in this industry

This reminds me of a TV series Wisdom of the Crowd, where everyone could help solve a murder by contributing in their own unique way from anywhere in the country. That's like decentralising investigation. @bania I like the suggestion you've made. Thanks for sharing.

Hey bro @greenrun
First, I wonder how you see my posts, so fast before anyone else does :) and
Secondly, how you manage to contribute quality comments to all of them?
You are really amazing and yeah, we can even decentralized the world like I prophesy in my steemit blog post I Have a Vision of a Decentralized World
Let's watch and see where this idea would go

It's easy to contribute on a topic when it is as meaningful as yours. It's a no brainier. I'd check the link you dropped now.

You actually saw utopia :) But that is achievable only if everything is decentralised.

redefining what open source means. . . . . meager of industries... .. . . . .This is indeed where the world is heading to, where the programmers, developers and tech wiz are the king of the affairs.

Absolutely bro, we can't pretend not to know where the world is heading, when we are already at the forefront leading the journey.

The truth is that Open Source Projects will be made big by Utopian, It also has a lot of branches, due to the earning Incentive people will be willing to profer valuable contributions to project.
It will also give people a learning platform where they can be in Class with people from all over the World.
The only limit to which this can go is the limit we have placed for It.

That's a powerful one bro, I believe in the potential of utopian too and I honestly wished the project success
