At the moment, only 86 views of this post and 595 upvotes. This is a valuable post from @jerrybanfield but about 15% (max) of voters got the idea of it as others just voted because they want curation rewards and no one from this remaining 85% gives a shit about this post.

These reflect autovotes from people often reading later. Check back in a week or two and the views often get much higher. Also those voting my posts early tend to earn back a good payout which often makes for a positive feedback loop for authors consistently getting posts voted up to keep earning. This does make it harder for most authors to get regular payouts which is good because those consistently contributing tend to get on autovoters in time while those just trying for a while and giving up tend to miss out.

Its an important issue to talk about - most voting IS done by bots - whether or not people come back to read it - thats debateable.
Some benefit, others don't, same rewards pool.
