Components
The octodroid app is a github client, which allows users to access their github account, commit, issues and even comment as though they are on the mother site (Github)
Proposal
While I was using the app, I discovered something in the app(more like a little bug).
The option to close and reopen an issue, is visible to users despite the user is not the author of the post.
Am using this platform to propose that the App should be able to detect owners post and provide an option either to close or to reopen an issue.
Although it doesn't close such posts, it's not professional to give an option to close or to reopen a post/issue to every user.
(see images below)
And
From the above photo, we can see that a post created by me displays perfectly and at the top right corner there's a button to close and to reopen
Also from a post not authored by me, the buttons to close and to reopen an issue is still made available which is not suppose to be
(see images below)

Mockups / Examples
I came across a similar app which is also a Github client, the app detects posts/issues and their rightful author and provide them the option to close or to reopen an issue if they are truly the author, and if a user is not the author, the option won't be displayed to them
(see images below)

Benefits
With this little errors amended, users will have respect for the app
They'll understand the functionality of closing and reopening an issue even more better
They can easily identify post they author

Hello @beckysophie, Your suggestion cannot be approved because option to close and reopen an issue, that is visible to users who are not the author of the posts/issues cannot be edited by other users, you can give a try, it keeps on reporting failed, it is more like a bug and already been discussed here. Thank you!
