Add grid patterns and arrangements to Flipside camera

Flipside Camera

This is a mobile camera application used to take multiple(2) pictures on one screen almost at the same time. The application only uses a single pattern or arrangement in which pictures are taken in a up and down manner. When pictures are taken the back camera goes first and picture is fixed at the top and the one taken with back camera stays below and the screen only accommodates two shots.

Proposal

I will like to suggest that more grid patterns and arrangements should be added to the application. Grid patterns arranges pictures in more squares or shapes. Using Flipside camera as an example, Flipside camera only has one pattern which is just up and down form of pictures.

More grid patterns should be added (examples can be found below). The patterns should be in form grid and users can take pictures in to each of them.

After the icon showing the grid option is clicked, drop down menu should appear showing the types of grid view that the application can use. Different grid examples are shown in the image below.

Using the second option (4 grids) in the grid list for example. After it is selected, the camera automatically splits into four screens and users can take 4 pictures in one screen, this also goes for all the other grid types. This can be seen in the image below.

Benefits

With the inclusion of the feature users will have more freedom in using the application knowing that they can take pictures in different grid patterns and not just one. Pictures can be taken in horizontal or vertical manner depending on the users preference.
Also this feature will give users more option as they can capture more than two sides of their world with different forms of creativity. This feature will make this application more usable and interesting.
