Include "Switch camera" feature in Flipside camera

Flipside Camera

Flipside camera is an camera application for android devices. The application uses the front and rear cameras to take picture on one screen almost at the same time. The application is an open source application. The application automatically sets the back camera as the first shot to be taken, then front camera for the second shot.

Proposal

I will like to suggest that a switch camera feature should be added to the application.
Switch camera feature allows users to select the camera they would like to use to take a picture; this can be either the back or front camera.
Using the application I noticed users are restricted to using the back camera first the the front camera next without an option to choose which one a user wants first.

A switch camera (front or back camera) feature should be added to the application. An icon can be placed in the application representing Switch camera, detailed illustration can be found below.

After the icon is clicked or selected, the camera automatically switches to the front camera. When it is clicked again, the camera automatically switches back camera.

Benefits

The inclusion of this feature will give users much more freedom in using the application knowing that they can use any camera (front or back camera) of their choice. Also users can take pictures in different ways using this feature, especially when a user needs to take two selfies or two pictures with the back camera. With this feature users can express their creativity back they can decide if they want the front camera first or the back camera.
For example, at times when a user does want to use the front camera (it could be faulty or with a defect and some devices do not have a front camera), users can easily switch cameras.
The addition of the Switch camera feature will give users more options and make the application more usable.
