I have been using Steemit platform for 74 days and it's been a superb experience for me so far, honestly it's change my life and also improved my knowledge beyond my own imagination for that I am very grateful to this amazing platform "Steemit"
Something happened today that has made me thought about what I am going suggest today, so that it will not repeat itself again.
Problem
Today a friend of mine suddenly came into our Whatsapp group lamenting that his Steemit account has been hacked, he said someone had entered his account and sent out 10 Sbd and 5 Steem and we started bringing out different ideas on how to get his Sbd back, someone suggested we trace the account, some suggested they contact Steemit customer care service and so on, yet nothing was working out, lots of questions kept pouring out he couldn't reply stead he went Off-line and I felt his pain.
Here are Screenshots
Lots of people began to panic in the group, some of us went ahead to even change their master password, some send out their Sbd to the fear of an hacker.
Though it turned out when victim came back On-line and said he has found his Sbd and recovered them, we all asked how and he said someone he was teaching how to use Steemit who normally use his laptop and phone most times to make post, decided to create an account and name it Hacker Hacker, since his password is logged on his browser he went ahead and send out his token to the new account making him believe it was the work of an hacker which wasn't.
Suggestion
Today's occurrence had made me see the need for Steemit to integrate Google Authenticator to users wallet transactions, this will safeguard users hard earned Sbd and give them peace of mind.
I think Steemit should give users Google Authentication keep their mind at peace.
Benefits
1 Its going to give users peace of mind, their won't be easy panic of one loosing their Sbd
2 its will make Steemit wallet very firm and not easily threatened by hackers
3 It will set a new look for Steemit wallet
Conclusion
Steemit users will be very grateful when this feature will come into reality, it's going to give less worry to users saving large Sbd and Steem on their wallet.

At the very least it should be integrated into the browser interface.
