Helm - Software Synthesizer
Introduction:
Helm is a software synthesizer. Helm emulates the sounds created by vintage analogue synthesizers such as the Moog Voyager and the ARP-2600.

It is available for Linux, Windows and Mac platforms. You can download Helm from this site: http://tytel.org/helm
Once you get it installed take some time to explore the geography of the layout. It is not hard to get started. The video tutorial will walk you though the key parts of the interface to get you started.

That is a great keyboard. All the control surfaces on that keyboard can be used to control every parameter of Helm. He can have lots of fun with that instrument. Send me a link to some of his music when he starts posing it. I would love to hear some :)
