Description
Learn the functionality of the AS Reverb
Reverb units provide ambient sound to your signal. It emulates a room sound. You have some controls to adjust the amount of the ambient sound is present in the new signal.

Learn how to use the Blend function
Blend is similar to the Mix function on other modules. It controls the ratio of original sound to ambient sound in your final signal.

Learn how to use the Damp function
Damp can be likened to the material that the wall of a room is made of. A hard flat material will case more sound reflection and a soft irregular material will absorb sound. Damp has more effect on on higher frequencies.

Learn how to use the Decay function
Decay refers to the length of time it takes for the new reverb sound to die away to silence.

Learn how to use a High-Pass Filter to avoid overloading with low frequencies
If we send a full frequency range to a reverb unit it can become overloaded with the low frequencies. The result will sound muddy and confusing. By using a high-pass filter before the Reverb we can limit the amount of low frequencies entering the reverb unit and make the sound more clean.
VCV Rack is an open source application, which means that it is free for everyone to use. Please consider going to the developers' website and show your support for the project - http://www.vcvrack.com
