Description

#Learn the functionality of MVerb

MVerb is an excellent reverb module. NYSTHI gives us many variables to let us manipulate the sound. In this tutorial I go over all the controls for this reverb module

mverb.jpeg

Learn how to use Predelay

This changes the time that the changed sound begins to play after the initial sound.

Learn how to use EarlyMix

See video tutorial for details.

Learn how to use RoomSize

This variable changes the initial echo heard as part of the reverb sound. This initial echo defines the size of the room with the longer the delay the larger the room.

Learn how to use Density

See video tutorial for details.

Learn how to use LP Frequency

This is much like a low pass filter, which limits the amount of high frequency entering the reverb take of the module.

Learn how to use Decay

This defines the amount of time it take for the reverb sound to fade away to silence.

Learn how to use Damping

This variable defines the type of material on the walls of the room. The material can be highly absorbent like drapes or reflective like stone.

Learn how to use Freeze

This button takes a moment in time of the reverb sound and plays it back holding that sound for a long period of time.

VCV Rack is an open source application, which means that it is free for everyone to use. Please consider going to the developers' website and show your support for the project - http://www.vcvrack.com
