By default, it is the first photo in our post that is to be selected as our thumbnail.
So we tend to always put the best photo first so that it will appear as the thumbnail of the post even if we wanted it to appear somewhere in our post to make the best out of it.
Would it be nice if steemit has an option for us to select the thumbnail that we might think the best for our post?
A button to upload or link the image that we prefer to appear as the thumbnail of our post.
like as shown in the image above.
The thumbnail button added as an option to the author to click it to select the photo that is to be used as the image of the post.
Clicking the thumbnail button will appear another window wherein you can either drag and drop the photo you have selected or you can just copy and paste the link of the image
After pasting or uploading the photo it will automatically be saved to be your thumbnail until the post has been submitted. If you wanted to edit and change the photo you can always click again the thumbnail button to erase and replace your chosen image.
Implementing this will give freedom to the user to select and create best and relevant thumbnail for their post to attract viewers and probably will make steemit more user-friendly in the future.
