FACT: Two of the best things about Steemit: #Collaboration and #Sharing

Agreed?

YES - well in which case here you go then - you can’t get better than the latest news about a collaboration between Crowdsourcing Supremo’s @utopian and Crowdfunding Experts @fundition: here is the press release:

https://www.issuewire.com/utopianio-and-funditionio-announce-partnership-to-empower-the-development-of-open-source-projects-1607404726825086

These are two outstanding open source project and have much potential to change lives- so let’s revel in the news!

I feel privileged to have had some interaction with both projects in some capacity. I met some of the Utopian team in London back in April and have been rewarded for an Analysis post by @Utopian since then. AND following an introduction from a friend I met @hightouch CTO of @fundition on discord and have learnt snippets of his projects from there. I am referring people to Fundition whenever it makes sense– especially for Humanitarian causes, and I’ve also referred some foreign language speakers to Utopian for some of the good work they do in this niche.

So, basically, I felt well placed to share this good news of the collaboration.

I will now share in a basic format – how I have shared the news of this collaboration outside of Steemit:

What activity did I complete

I’ve shared the press release and/ or started conversations in the following places.

  1. Twitter – tweet from @cryptocuratorUK

  2. Twitter comment on The Linux Foundation

  3. Twitter comment on The Open News

  4. Twitter comment on Massachusetts Institute of Technology ; MITHACK account

  5. Retweets of the press release whenever I have seen it.

Interestingly I had some ideas around engagement on Twitter posts and the sparse nature of information in twitter and I need to think more about how best to engage in third party tweets.

Basically, as many of you will know striking up conversations on Twitter is difficult – but sometimes you just need an icebreaker and you might need a friend to help there. So there is definitely food for thought, for me, on how to build conversations in Twitter.

There is also the nature of the way a thread of comments works in Twitter which is less than ideal for having a multiple person conversation.

You did great Job @cryptocurator.
It's amazing of collaboration, @utopian-io and @fundition-io. I Believed it will make crypto currency stronger and best of future. It's make me more spirit to keep Steem on!

This is really good and exciting news, @cryptocurator. I hope fundition is indeed a pioneer in a new way of sharing and helping people in need with a faster and stronger blockchain system with its token Heart.

For the idea of building a conversation on Twitter, it's a good idea but at the same time a big challenge. Hmm, what about Instagram? I thought of doing a promo with my Instagram account.
