Expected behavior
When clicking the "Create new post" button I expect to submit the picture and redirect me to my profile.
Actual behavior
When clicking the "Create new post" button I experience a long loading (tested for 1 hour) and the picture will not be submitted. Loading never finishes.
Console Output: SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
How to reproduce
Go to https://alpha.steepshot.io/createPost and try to upload a picture.
- Browser: Safari Version 11.0.2, Firefox Version 57.0.4 and 58.0
- Operating system: macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.2

As a proof i am linking my post on steepshot which i uploaded recently just 1 min ago. there was a delay in posting. But eventually it got posted

I eventually fixed the problem. If you take a look at the beginning the picture is around 10MB of size. The plattform cant handle this big images. When downscaling to around 4MB it worked fine. I also did not found an offical size limit.

I do have the exact same problem on my Windows 10 and Firefox 58.0.1 (64-bit).
Uploaded a Post and everything was cool, the next upload 2 minutes later and i got stuck in the "uploading forever" circle.
