This is my new proposed icon design for open source app "Shuttle Music Player".

DESCRIPTION

Shuttle Music Player is an intuitive, lightweight and powerful open source music player for Android.

Features:

• Modern, Material design

• Built in 6-band equalizer with bass boost

• Gapless playback

• Lyrics (embedded lyrics only, for legal reasons)

• Automatic artwork downloading

• Tons of theme options, including light & dark mode

• Sleep timer

• Extremely customizable widgets

• Last.fm Scrobbling

• Open source

BENEFITS/IMPROVEMENT

I make a much modern design in my new proposed icon. It's an improvement from the previous design. The appearance of the new icon is based on the name of the app.

TOOLS

I used Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 in designing this new proposed icon and Microsoft PowerPoint for the presentation.

    • Avoid hair lines in a relatively small design, it won't be visible when you scaled it down and it will cause "flickering" in some display.
    • Maybe you can try to fix it, but there is no guaratee I'll approve your contribution even after you fix it.
