Steem White Paper - Russian Translation and Proofreading (En/Ru)

Dear russian-speaking community, how many of you have read the Steem White Paper? Maybe because all this time it was in English... Meet the final Russian version of this document, placed at Crowdin.com!

While Utopian.io moderators are still arguing about whether to consider the proofreading as a contribution or not, I read and corrected the Steem White Paper in Russian. Many of you know that this is a rather big document, and it may take a long time to get acquainted with it. Now I just want to show you how the proofreading turns into a full-fledged work on the translation.

For the basis of the Russian translation was taken a piece of the text previously posted by one of the Steemit users in his blog more than a year ago. It was written in an informal style, contained some inaccuracies in the translation, spelling and grammar mistakes. Some lines were not translated at all.

During the proofreading process mistakes were corrected, and the text was reduced to a more formal (official) style. In addition, I returned the original spelling of words Steem, STEEM, SBD for readers do not get confused, where it's about the platform, and where it's about the currency. To do all of this, I had to edit more than half of all the lines. Now all 12.111 words of the document have been 100% translated and approved.

Пока модераторы Утопиан.ио все еще ведут споры о том, считать ли корректуру как вклад или нет, я читала и редактировала Белую Бумагу Стима на русском. Многие из вас знают, что это довольно большой документ, и на ознакомление с ним может уйти немало времени. Сейчас я просто хочу показать вам, как корректура превращается в полноценную работу над переводом.

Я взяла его в работу в состоянии 92% перевода и 0%корректуры, но даже то, что оставалось сделать, оказалось большим куском работы.
За основу русского перевода был взят текст, ранее выложенный одним из Steemit пользователей в своем блоге. Он был написан в неформальном стиле, содержал некоторые неточности в переводе, орфографические и грамматические ошибки. Некоторые строки не были переведены вовсе.

В процессе работы ошибки были исправлены, а текст приведен к более официальному стилю. Кроме этого я вернула оригинальное написание словам Steem, STEEM, SBD, чтобы читатели не запутались, где идет речь о платформе, а где говорится о валюте. Чтобы сделать все это, мне пришлось отредактировать более половины строк. Теперь все 12.111 слов документа переведены и проверены на 100%.
