Hi,
only public keys start with STM. So the app is totally right. You entered a public posting key and not the private one.

In terms of the quality of your contribution it was far too 'light', it would have been good to include items such as expected behavior, actual behavior as well as clear and concise steps of how to reproduce the issue.
I also don't believe an issue has occurred here due to the application telling you that you have not entered a private key. Without the steps to reproduce or detailed information, it's hard to make a true assessment.
