Detecting Internal Memory As Removable Storage.

You claim that you are asked every time to grant the permission to write on SD. The message clearly says what you should do. You must choose the root directory of the external storage so that it can be properly recognized.

My observation:

  • After ejecting the SD card, the storage is shown in the File Explorer but no files can be listed. The same for the app, no files from the SD card are shown.
  • When I wanted to do any action that requires writing permission on the external storage, it requires setting the root folder as you were prompted. You did not show if you did that or not.

I was not able to reproduce the issue you have or the steps are really unclear about what you are trying to do.

Did you look up this issue on github?? @espoem ?
Also, did you read where my steps say "grant the permission when prompted"?

Well, my stance does not change. In my opinion, they did not really confirm it. They put a label so that they could see if it is a problem. There is no comment indicating that you were able to describe the issue correctly. They only assumed the outcome as you described it and as I told you, when I ejected the card, the app would not show the files, therefore I believe that this is not a proper report.

However, if you disagree, you may submit a ticket and the Community Manager will see it.

Come on tech-guy!! You know have to reboot your phone after removing the memory card before carrying out the steps. (I hope by eject you dont mean unmount).
