About DeepSteem

Details

After using DeepSteem for a while I thought it will be best to let other people know more about DeepSteem and how it works. I decided to check its Github repository and discovered it was missing some important details so I decided to contact the PO and requested to come with an about us section where more details will be added about DeeepSteem.

I pulled a request in the Github repository where I wrote a lot of details about DeepSteem. I merged the request and waited for approval from the PO but here pointed some few errors I made and asked me to correct it before approval. I corrected my errors and he approved my request.

About DeepSteem

DeepSteem is a dashboard for the STEEM blockchain written as frontend only Angular application.It is a small steem dashboard which was created by @nafestw. It is built on the steem blockchain where it gets its data from.

How It Works

To use deepsteem, log on to http://deepsteem.com/#/dashboard where you input your steemit username and it brings out your data like vp, curation rewards, followers, history etc. It awesome to know that you can see your expected curation rewards on the posts you voted. A lot of amazing features of DeepSteem.

Components

• Estimation of incoming curation rewards

  You can get estimated curation rewards using DeepSteem

• Accurate estimation of incoming author rewards

  You can accurately get your incoming author rewards

• Cumulative voting power of all followers

  Another interesting thing is that you can get the total vp of all your followers

• Computation of vote power and vote value

  DeepSteem can also help you calculate vote power and vote value

• Estimation of incoming author rewards for posts

  You can also check estimated returns on other steemian's vote

• Graph showing the amount of self-votes

  With DeepSteem, you can also check with a graph the number of self-votes you have.

• List of followers with cumulated vote value of all followers.

  You can also check the list of your followers plus all their vote worth added together

Benefits / Improvements

DeepSteem saves you the stress of trying to calculate your incoming rewards yourself. We all know how difficult it is to calculate that especially when the value of steem and sbd are not stable. Some people like me don't even know how to calculate it. It brings me joy to know that by just proving my steemit username, I can get all the information I want. There are other amazing features, I can know the total amount of vote value that will be given to me if all my followers vote me.

The site has gotten better and easier to access. Steem-api.ts wrapper has been added for steemjs, that automatically generates a function for every API request in steem.api. Value of steem and sbd can now be checked also.
