Expected behavior
The expected function when the (camera flash) is set to auto is to determine if the light produced by an external source is enough to take a shot or shoot a scene.
Hence, when the shot is initiated by a click on the center circular button, the flash automatically flashes on if the scene or object is in the dark or in need of more lighting, but stays off when the light from an external source (sun or daylight) is sufficient.
Actual behavior
Setting the camera flash to auto causes the flash light to continuously go on and off on a target, even without initiating a shot.
How to reproduce
- Download the app from fdroid store
- Click and launch the app from the phone menu.
- Set the flash to auto by tapping the thunder symbol till a capital "A" appears below the sign.
- Pick an object and an environment with little light.
- Now focus the camera on the object and you'll notice the off and on motions of the flash light
