Blacklist feature would make the frostwire application a lot smarter if implemented.

Components

Frostwire combines both video/audio player and offers a stream/download service which is one of the reasons it is widely adopted by lovers of music worldwide. The reason for this post however is to point out a feature this app is lacking and the need for it to be implemented. The blacklist function which serves the purpose of restricting certain folders from being accessible by the player is not on frostwire.

Proposal

Frostwire lacks this feature or anything similar so it should be implemented. Users may want to restrict a particular folder or two from being accessed by the player, this feature sets in at this point. It should also be built in a way that allows users to manage the blacklisted folders. It would allow users to decide when to blacklist folders or files and when to undo the command.

Mockups / Examples

The right place for the blacklist function is shown on the below screen shot

Benefits

The benefits users stand to get is privacy as restrictions can be implemented of some files or folders which would prevent the player or a third party from accessing. If a user does not want a particular or certain songs playing at a given time, the blacklist feature sets in to solve the problem. The frostwire brand would also gain or retain users when a need as this is met.
