Linphone is a free chat application for Android tablets and smartphones. This application has been developed as open source, which can be downloaded free. Voice calls can be made through Linphone.
Present Icon
First, I thought that this is a messaging application so it should have phone, message and call icons. In this way, I converted the icons to a digital drawing on Adobe Illustrator. You can see the details below.
I determined the color palette for the icon.
Here is the final version of the icon I designed for Linphone.

Benefits / Improvements
This new icon have really strong view from the old icon that existing and have more elegant/modern shape from the old one. Linphone New icon is made more simple but catchy.
