Expected behavior
When I click on "Download" in the Synchronization activity, I expected the app to download file from the cloud storage which was added in the "Provider".
Actual behavior
When I navigate to Synchronization activity in Settings and click on "Download" , nothing happens. Continuous clicking does nothing.
How to reproduce
- Download the app from play store
- Launch the app
- At the Home Activity, Open the Navigation drawer and click on "Settings"
- Click on "Synchronization"
- Click on "Download"
- Nothing happens, continuous clicking also does nothing
- Version: Version 2018.02.26.981
- Operating system: A1 Lite, Android 7.0
Your contribution cannot be approved because I don't believe a bug occurred using the steps provided within this contribution, I believe that this issue is a poor user experience rather than a bug. If an issue has occurred I don't believe the detail provided within this contribution provides enough information to the project owner to correctly allow them to understand that an issue has occurred.
Firstly the download database option is not available for use until a remote file has been set up, I can see within your video this has not been set up correctly as it isn't showing in the menu screen. The remote file should have been mentioned within the contribution in order to help the project owner understand if an issued occurred.
Although you mention that it's not responsive and I was able to replicate this I was able to enable the download functionality with the correct setup. As I don't believe the steps mentioned are in line with the current expected behaviour I conducted the testing using the following method:
Using the steps provided above I wasn't able to see an issue and because I believe that the above is the expected behaviour of the application and a bug didn't occur I cannot accept this particular contribution.
