Addition of "Downvote" Function and "Cover-Brand" Options on HN Materialistic

Components

Hn materialistic is a hacker news open source andriod application which provides users with the opportunity to browse through top stories, trending news and also provides the avenue for users to broadcast their own stories through its social community.

This contribution consists of a few minor additional function to improve hn materialistic application.

Proposal

My proposal includes the addition of two very important function which would help users be versatile on the application and they include:

• Downvote Option
• Cover Brand

These added are to be positioned on specific locations on the application such as "cover brand" which can be positioned on the log-in landmark on the menu option (see images below for illustration).

Also the Downvote options can be positioned upon opening of a user's story. A user's story contains the options of vote, comment on this section, it would then be of essense to position the Downvote function here (see images below for illustration).

Also included should be an additional set-up to edit user cover-brand and an icon to represent user cover-brand on Top stories, trending and other categories. (see image below for illustration).

Benefits

• Downvote: This option can be used to downvote/dislike a post. The application provides a means to broadcast user story hence in order to prevent abuse of platform, a downvote function should be provided in order to maintain good and effiecient broadcasting of news and story.
• Cover-Brand: this option provides users and firms with the ability to showcase thier brand, label or logo in order to promote professional image and reputation. The cover brand can also act as a means to advertise their latest product and services to more users on the platform.
