I like to use the steemd.com site to view my interactions with others.

And then I like to follow people I interact with on steemit.com, but that is not easy.

So here is a hack to do that :

Annotated Code

Take the user name as the first parametr
user=$1
Pull the last 10k transactions from steemjs api
wget "https://api.steemjs.com/get_account_history?account=${user}&from=-1&limit=10000" -O history.json

Format with jq, a great javascript command line tool, yes we could use this to do the full query
jq . history.json > get_account_history.js

Now collect the different field values and turn them into steemit links, they are sorted by count if you want to review the files

grep "account" get_account_history.js | sort | uniq -c | sort -n | sed 's!"account": "!\nhttps://steemit.com/@!g' | sed -e 's!",!!g' | grep http > account.txt

Diffing

When you then come back later and want to find who is new, you just run the command again and use git diff to show you the changed people
